Alex is arguing the CTSV isn't a muscle car. What do you say oppo?

I agree with Alex. Too nicely appointed, and handles too well. I'd call it a 'super-sedan'.

Pushrod V8
Big HP/torque numbers
RWD
'Murican as hell
Sounds like a muscle car to me.

The question is, at what level of refinement is a car no longer about brute muscle, and rather a legit trackworthy sports car.

Let's see, how do I do this.... Is this a muscle car?
600+RWHP
Or maybe this is more to your liking:
700+RWHP
I know how about some sleepers:
10.77 second quarter mile @127MPH
10.7 @128.7MPH
or
Least powerful of the top three CTS-Vs at the upcoming Texas Mile, but he's on top right now:
He dynos at 998/996 RWHP/TQ the top dog is 1309RWHP.
Yeah, I think these could be called muscle cars alright!

And Oh by the Way, none of the above have changed anything on the interior except the 1309HP one has a cage.

I'd say that it is, but it can also keep up with an M5 on the track. It seems to have a double identity, because it has all of the perks of a muscle car, but the suit of a refined luxury saloon.
